  3. The dollar used to repay the debt must also be borrowed ad infinitum and requires exponential (and infinite growth). No matter how small that growth it. 1.02^t, 2% growth, looks linear and manageable for the 1st 50 years or so. And even though the line starts to go vertical, it's still a small 2% growth. This infinite growth is the foundation of socialism. Most people do not have an intuition for exponentials.
