  2. True, but "Centralization of debt the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly" is exactly what Marx wanted and what we have now. By controlling debt, you get to pick winners and losers. Marx thought that the ruling class, being smarter than the serfs would do a better job with resource allocation.

  7.  @Cy5208  Africa is an insanely resource wealthy country and the west is terrified of what they can do. The west, or at least its ptb, thinks that only they have the birthright to propery manage those resources. They do not want African countries to figure out that the do not need the west.

  8.  @arabcadabra8863  I was really into this stuff (cyberpunk and William Gibson) in the 90's and read many of their book. You can find recent videos of Harari talking about all of these ideas, they are by no means new. And yes they do believe it. It's a powerful incentive to very old people who are about to die
