She reminds me a bit of a Sarah Wiener series about food on French public TV recently.  She's from Austria and speaks adequate French.  She went around the country in a VW and spent days in places, learning dishes, throwing her own pots for the cooking, my picky Parisian spouse actually insisted we watch.  I liked it, and some was pretty intense.  Watching the kugelhopf nutty lady baker who deals with it as exact science was wild!  (Actually, that episode helped me be more serious about my own kugelhopf!)  I like Charlet just fine.  I call her Legs.

Legs, the protagonist, is great!  I recommend a touristic visit to Scotland and hope to return.  Stick with the great landscapes, there's plenty of history, and try the local specialties and game.  Don't be discouraged if you can't understand the answers to your questions.  I carried a little notebook and pencil!  Try to listen to the people and observe them.  It's fun!  Uprated, thank you.
