  1. My husband here in Paris has a cousin, mixed blood, who was a skateboard star and had sponsors.  He immediately went to drugs and blew it all.  I started skateboarding in the USA around 1965.  I don't know why people think this sort of thing will be a longterm career.  I enjoyed NYC for 17 years and promoted a zine called DON'T SKATE when I did NYC radio.
