  1. I’m sorry but this whole thing about how puberty is so harrowing that it causes you to think you should “transition” just doesn’t ring true. It’s mildly uncomfortable and the vast majority of people would never feel like that. This is about following an ideology.

  2.  @souxcasa  exactly. Vulnerable, not gullible. The children who get roped into this movement are also love-bombed to oblivion. If you look on the forums it’s plain as day why they fall into it. Boys being told they’re “gorgeous girlies” and girls being told they’re “handsome boys” and showered with attention and affirmation.

I’d posit that if you had a child raised purely in the home, homeschooled with your own curriculum, no internet access, no TV, no friends, rarely leaving the house- this would NOT occur. Of course that is not a healthy way to raise a child - but it would prove that this is not a naturally occurring variation of the human condition. The closest we have to this is when Matt Walsh visited a tribe in Africa (largely cut off from technology and the west) and they laughed at the notion.

I said that the notion that perhaps I, or any of my peers were born in the wrong body, did not occur to ANYONE I knew, it wasn’t everywhere to be seen in media and on social media. I was a teenager between 2011-2018, so not even that long ago. That’s how new this is.
