@chrisdawson1776 Everyone has condemned Hamas (everyone with a brain, anyway). It doesn’t suddenly make Netanyahu right and everybody else wrong. Do you condemn the Stern gang, Lehi or Irgun? Post WWII Israel itself was born from terrorism. Former Prime Minister Menachem Begin was the leader of Irgun. In other words, a terrorist. The opportunity to bury decades of crap was lost when Rabin was murdered (I predicted months earlier he would be). The principal beneficiaries were the Netanyahu faction. When I went through Israel, I was amazed at the number of places that had framed photos or posters - some even had murals - of Rabin. The average Israeli just wants all the nut jobs on both sides to pack it in and sign an agreement. But to his own advantage, Netanyahu convinced Zionists that they were going to be victimised in a country where they were already top of the societal tree. There has been thirty years of on again - off again conflict and the only beneficiary has been Netanyahu.
