  6. You’ve got it the wrong way around. Musk wants Twitter so he can defame people, under the guise of freedom of speech. In fact, anyone with a brain can see this is a case of being able to buy freedom of speech. You and I can’t do it but he can.

Musk is no different from any other business tycoon. Some are good, some are not-so good. He just plays the public relations game better. "Because he's done more for renewable resources then anyone in our life times?" Really? What's he done for renewable resources? "I can't see how you would imply the planet would be better off without this man." If he wants to go to Mars, who am I to stop him? The fact is that Elon Musk is a human publicity machine with a perfectly groomed public image that has been swallowed unquestioningly by people who have no critical thinking skills. They simply trust everything he says. "What are you contributing?" Probably more than most. I'm an innovator in my industry and I'm the son of an even better innovator. The difference is that neither of us was good at monetising our ideas. And in my case, I shy away from any kind of self-promotion.
