I had the same frustrations as you did. It seems to me that it was written by people with an interest only in equipment and no interest in tactics or the use of historical examples as a basis for the scene. It might even have been written by a bunch of gamers. I hated this movie. It was just silly. I’ve seen it once and felt ripped off.
