@QuietWind01 Oh, the old "Your point proves my point" ruse. You asked if I knew what I was talking about. This video is about I Australia. I live in Australia. I know more about what's going on here than you do, which is why you are vulnerable to exploitation by clowns like Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan and Candace Owens. When Carlson used a picture from China of a man in a chemical suit being taken away, he inferred that this was happening in Australia. It isn't. Never has. We don't even know what the context of that shot was. Could have been an arrest for drug trafficking for all we know. Tucker Carlson is lying and misrepresenting. So are the others. They don't know what they're talking about.

No truth in this claim. We’re basically out of lockdown now anyway.
3
Newsflash! We're not in lockdown. Some of us never have been. The main ones were in Melbourne and Sydney (which I know most Americans have never heard of, despite both their populations being >5 million people) and they have been lifted.
3
@QuietWind01 Do you have any idea what’s going on or are you just using this as an excuse for some chest beating to feel good about yourself?
3
@QuietWind01 Freedumb
3
@QuietWind01 Nobody here does, except the neo-Nazis and other alt-right and anti-government groups. Sure, we're sick of it but it's basically over now and we're coming out of it.
3
@QuietWind01 By the way, on the question of morality, there is no question. The measures we took saved lives. The inconvenience to "individual rights" was totally justified (remember, my rights were temporarily inconvenienced too). I don't know anyone who disagrees.

I'm Australian. Tucker Carlson is a liar and has no idea what he's talking about. Ignorant pillock.

@joeg2942 If god created everything then wouldn’t that include evil?
2
That's true. Until they get Covid.
2
Please, please don't offer us your thoughts and prayers.
2
@callumworsfold5776 No you weren't. You were either in hotel accommodation (almost exclusively for incoming passengers) or you quarantined at home. Or you're lying.
2
@ronwishart6640 Your choice, mate.

@marinogod84 That’s the generation that gets its information from social media…

So here’s what Americans think is going on in Australia right now: An evil dictator has taken control. The government is using Covid as an excuse to take complete control. Everyone is locked up in their homes, never to be allowed out again. The army is patrolling the streets, terrorising a cowed public. Mind control. Australians can do nothing because the government took away their guns. Something about God. Not sure what it was. I’m Australian. None of this is true. Those protesters were not peaceful. THE VIDEO SHOWS THIS. You all express distrust for mainstream media but you’re the first to fall for a snake oil salesman like Carlson. That idiot Candace Owen said the US should send troops to restore freedom. And you believed it. If your constitution had better separated the powers of church and state, you might be collectively less gullible. WAKE UP AMERICA.
1
Candace Owens recommends sending troops to restore freedom FFS! Good! Send them over. I'll buy them a beer. This is what happens when an ignorant "social influencer" loses the plot. What a clown.

Where are the tanks, Tucker?
1
@kirk5152 And the lockdown is pretty much over anyway.
1
@highendbutthurt2781 Yes but you denied they urinated on it. I didn’t say they vandalised it and I don’t think anyone else did.
1
@highendbutthurt2781 Let’s give a more complete quote from the Shrine CEO, including the bits you either didn’t hear or left out: ”There was broken glass, there was rubbish, there was urination, there was beer cans," -Dean Lee.

@normsimpson2342 Do you even own a passport?
1
Hothead1300 Jay You first.
1
@Rapptor22 Yes you can.
1
@karlthemarxist6806 Wrong. Small rural communities were considered and, for the most part, the regions were not under the same restrictions as the major cities, like Melbourne and Sydney. But even so, there were still (fatal) outbreaks in small places like Wilcannia, in way, way outback New South Wales. See, people travel and the whole picture can change overnight. But for the most part, the regions were rarely under the same rules as the cities.

@riojuans4625 "Christians are the most charitable people on earth and in history. We literally run most of the charities in the world." Says who? Have you seen the Sikh food vans in action?
1
@ansmokeful Correct. Brothels are not open.
1
Marco White Same.
1
@DiBaozi “Nobody here has any idea what’s going on in Australia.” -The Third Man.
1
Australia is out of lockdown. There are still a few restrictions but almost all will be gone by the end of the month. All borders will be open by Christmas.
1
@QuietWind01 Well, I live in Australia. You don't.
1
@morgott13 Clicks.
1
@morgott13 Which word did he break?
1
@callumworsfold5776 I don't believe you.
1
@theresistance1111 Yeah, 'cause a minor inconvenience like washing hands, wearing a mask and practicing social distancing in the interests of protecting vulnerable members of the community is tyranny, right? In six month's time you will be irrelevant anyway.
1
@callumworsfold5776 Yes. In a few months they will no longer be necessary anyway. The government already knows where you are. You allow them to by a means you probably don’t even care about.
1
@callumworsfold5776 Your are aware, are you not, that the new law forbids access to the tracking data by the police…?
1
@callumworsfold5776 By the way, there have been, I think, 8 superbugs since 2000 and there will be a few more to come in our lifetimes, especially with the change in climate. So yes, I agree; they will be used again. But Daniel Andrews - who everyone has their knickers in a twist over - will not always be in power. Others will need to use these laws at some point. There are pros and cons and among the pros is that the decision will be made by an elected official instead of a “faceless man”, for whom there are no consequences at a ballot box. Were it not for the fact that Brett Sutton has been front and centre, he would have been that faceless man and he already had the power to shut down the state. Which would you prefer?
1
@callumworsfold5776 What?
1
@callumworsfold5776 “They” - let’s call them “the government” - can track you any time they like. I’ve seen it done. This capability has existed for probably 30 years. I’m talking about state laws.
