  1. This is pretty good as far as it goes but it's a bit loose with the timeline. The gassing of the Kurds at Halabja was very late in the war. Otherwise, it covers many of the major issues. The only thing I'd add - more for general information than total assessment - is the inclusion of the basij, Iranian child soldiers who were frequently slaughtered in those human wave assaults..
