  1. I’ll give you a perspective from someone who spent 35 years in media. The individual rallies are pulling 2,500-3,000 people. On a national scale, that’s nothing special. However… He’s been doing this consistently all over America for weeks and that definitely is a story. The problem is that it’s more a feature story than a normal news story. That brings other factors into play and this, from my personal perspective, could actually be a good thing. Yes, I agree: they should be covering it but the situation is a little more nuanced than most people would like to think. They can’t ignore him forever.
