All look like reliability nightmares to me.

Hey John, I have to thank you. You have been doing a consistently good review of so many cars since I started watching your program on public television in college over 30yrs ago. Glad that you're still at it. This particular car is a stunner, if a bit optimistically priced. We'll have to wait and see how sales do. I can't say I've ever seen one on the road yet, as of 3-2018.

He was a wonderful presenter. Sorry to learn of his passing. I remember watching him from my dorm room, when I should have been studying in the library. He was much more interesting than my college studies. Good man. May he be at peace.

I put over 100K miles on one of these. It was a really great car. Their cars were better back then. That engine was amazing.
6
Impressive. This is long overdue. Youthful, sporty, and a blatant copy of an Mazda3. They should sell a ton of them.

I think they did a very nice job. It looks terrific. But at $54K this has to be one of the worst values out there. That MSRP is ridiculous. I would never recommend one.Buick's sales dept is over-reaching, imo.

I'll buy an Allroad, thanks.

I think the design is great but the value is terrible. So little for so much money. You'd be lucky getting one for less than $45K. That's terrible. Pass.

I've been enjoying watching this guy for like 30yrs now. Best presentation skills. Thanks, Pat.

John Davis is such a legend. It’s great that he’s still at this. I feel like I’ve been following him for 40yrs.
3
It's a very nice option, as new cars go, but $30K and only 148hp? That just seems irresponsible.
3
John, you really are a legend. I’ve been listening to that voice of yours since my college days in the 80s when MotorWeek was carried on public television. And here you are today, never skipping a beat. You have my respect. Great stuff.
3
I like how she says, "oo rahd kan". Great, concise coverage of the show.

John Davis-> LEGEND.

I think it’s a tragedy this car doesn’t photograph nearly as good-looking as it is. Looks much more aggressive in person. Beautiful car.
2
Shame it’s so ugly, good as it might be.
2
Nice design but that badge on the grill looks stupid big. Way out of proportion to be in good taste. Kind of seems like they're bragging. Otherwise looks promising and very overdue. Acura has lost their way, just like he said, and only ever seems like a nicer Honda.

Beautiful car.

It's a really nice redesign but the interior seems overly fussy and all that hard plastic seems oppressive. Nice on paper, don't like it in reality. No doubt they will sell many of them.
1
It's a really nice effort on Honda's part, it's just a shame that they priced it so high. $27-28K would be much more realistic for what you get, imo.

That thing is going to make a lot of kids carsick.
1
Funny, they all seem to be selling for over $100K.

Wow John Davis is a legend. I’ve been watching since the beginning when I was in college and should have been studying. Pat Goss always did a great segment too. Great stuff. So nice that it has endured time.

$110-000? I just don’t see it. But they probably will sell all the ones they make.
1
I think it’s unfortunate you never see these on the road. I guess people never took to them. They sold many more of the original version

Tesla is in big trouble.

They're going to sell a ton of these. Sad that this is the future of cars.
