  2. Sure Mat, the Merc is the most interesting, but it's as butt ugly as the BM. If it were my money,I'd have to go with the Audi. It's the most posh...and that's where you spend all your time. But, VW did a really nice job on this Mk VII.

  10. Very unique, very special, though this is not the prettiest redesign, it has incredible desirability. I'll take the coupe over this anytime. And that sound...Aston make the nicest sounding exhausts. Vantage V12S for me, personally.

  14. Not a fair comparison, Mat. Come on. I owned a black 89 GTI 16v just like this one for 3yrs, and I LOVED that car. There was nothing average about it. The torque spread of these 2 cars is too far apart for comparison's sake. But you seemed to have fun winning.

  16. It's lost its image. This is a GT car to me, not some brutish muscle car. The sound is all wrong, if likable. It just belongs in a different car. And the looks...terrible. All of its polish is gone. I hope the next generation approves. I want to like it, but can't.

  26. This is a totally pointless test. No one who buys these cars is going to drive them like that. And they will likely never turn the traction control off. These are poser cars you see driving around St. Tropez and Nice and Cannes at 30-40mph. Much rather you test real sports cars, driver's cars, and not these fat cat cars. Thanks.

  31. Always a great review. Mat, you have a very appealing way about you. But...you do look a bit out of place in this rig, it being a $100K car (in the States anyway). Must be nice being you, on that day for sure. I hope that some who buy this machine use it to its potential; but I guess that's highly unlikely. Carry on.

  36. Really well done video. This reviewer has such a grasp of what's going on with the car, and its dynamics. I wonder if this is a gift or if it can be taught. Would make for many safer drivers.

  37. Both of the cars are so ugly, their performance almost seems moot. I do like this reviewer a lot, though. He's an excellent driver and offers lots of information with each review, in a very smart sort of way. BMW seems like a friskier, more fun, car.

  38. Just horrible. There's no other way to see it. Bentley should be ashamed. This thing is in such poor taste. Bentley have sold out with this one.
