The main difference between bombardment from the air and bombardment from the ground is RANGE. Destroying enemy armor before it engages self armor minimizes loses. Because russian accuracy in striking small, fast moving targets is "legendary". Just like the power stations, hospitals, apartment buildings, shopping centers and kindergartens found out, russian accuracy in delivering weapons is "without equal"

Hi JC. It is not motivational to have vast fields of graves of your forces. Civilians do not see this as "how wonderful", they think "this could be me" Hiding the cemeteries removes Prigozhin's gesture to patriotic death, permitting the russian MoD to conscript more freely
