  1. Hi Peter. The definition of "worst case" will depend upon the reference frame of observation. I believe that Artem (The russian Canadian Dude) stated that the "worst case" was from the perspective of the average russian citizen. I happen to agree with you, although I would consider it a best case. The breakup of the russian Federation into small pieces, no longer a threat to anyone. They can fester in the cesspit of their own making.

  2. Best case? putin assassinated. The russian Federation declares it was all his fault and withdraws troops from all of Ukraine, including Crimea. Reparations paid and Ukraine rebuilt. All kidnapped Ukrainians returned to Ukraine. The russian Federation declares unilateral nuclear disarmament. The UN politely removes the russian Federation from the Security Council. The people of russia get their freedom from autocracy. We hold hands and sing Kumbaya. OR The russian Federation blunders and hits a NATO country with munitions. Article 5 declared and russia is curb stomped, beaten, chopped, sliced and diced into complete submission. Unconditional surrender. Right now, after 100s of war crimes, I cannot decide which one I like better.
