  2. I think it's easy to scoff at NIMBY's until you end up in their position. It can be so hard to have a familiar place you've lived in for so long changed in such a way that you fear could make a place you love a place you hate. You worry that you won't want to live there anymore and you won't be able to find, or afford, a place you do want to live in.
