  1. The idea of using liquid lithium as a coolant does tend to raise a few eyebrows because of the risk of a lithium fire if there's a leak in the heat exchanger.

  2. I suspect the coolant will act as a "heat battery" in this case, smoothing out the intermittent energy releases of the impacts.
