Of course it is. You'd have to be a fool to think the tax cuts and payoffs to the rich help anyone besides Trump and his rich buddies. Take from the poor and give to the rich has been America's way for too long and it needs to change.

For other countries corruption in America has been blatant for a long time. It's only NOW that AMERICA is waking up to the reality of it all. While Russia is now leaning into captialism, the corruption in their government is still far less than the US. For example Putin isn't waging war on the poor of his nation instead he's trying to make all of Russia strong and educated for the future. I know Putin has his flaws it was just an example, calm down McCarthyists.

I came from Denmark to Canada and several years ago I thought America wasn't so bad. 10 years ago, and I'm only 26, I would've thought about going to America and maybe it would be harder than Canada and not so bad. Now that I'm 26 I'm absolutely horrified at the state america is in and people in Canada are becoming scared to even visit America because of the state it's in. I'm not exaggerating there are Canadians and other Foreigners who are afraid if they visit america they'll be robbed or wrongfully arrested or shot. This is not okay. America is falling down and it cannot continue collapsing. I urge the American people to get behind Bernie and those like Bernie to stand up and make your country the actual proud honorable place it used to be not the collapsing corrupt craphole it's becoming.

Harry Mann Jr And yet you pay higher overall in costs or don't pay at all because it's too expensive. How is this better than higher taxes?
3
Trump cares for someone. Himself.
3
Not really sure what this story is about but is this another case of America has to get involved with other countries in the world? Was this an American journalist and if not why is America getting involved again?
2
You guys seem to be missing the point. It's not the wage all the time but the conditions you have to work in. As someone from outside America I think it's a horrible joke that Americans have to suffer through harsh conditions for work and that some of you don't even realize jobs exist in other countries for the same work with much safer conditions.
2
Smoking weed has been legal in Ontario for awhile now.
2
@daysjours a lot of countries already thought America was a problem child but Trump, Ajit, and now the situation with Kavanuagh is waking people up to the reality of just how fucked up the country is.
2
@douglas_drew The American military creates terror not freedom and the American police force does a 50/50 job at protecting people which is not good enough. And now with net neutrality revoked internet is even going down in some emergency buildings. So you can squawk about patriotism all you like but the reality isn't going to change.
2
Syria isn't being bombed by the US anymore because they ran like rats when Russia set up a missile defense system there known as S-300s which now blanket Syria and US pilots have even come out and said it's the worst nightmare to be assigned to even fly over Syria because they know how dangerous it is. If Russia let's off their anti missiles they will down any US plane nearby guaranteed.

I'm sorry for your son. Whatever happens don't give up the fight for proper healthcare for all Americans. Don't let this happen to every other mother of every coming generation. I pray that luck and fortune be with you and your son.

@fatfat1877 If you're going to be an insensitive prick you can go worship Trump's Twitter page and stop making comments here.
2
@clintholmes2061 This isn't about religion. The original commenter clearly didn't want a religious debate over it he was just saying how bad Trump is. So stop it.
2
@clintholmes2061 What part of Laura's comment is Bible thumping? You sir need to sit down and chill. You sound like someone who's had way too much coffee.
2
@mrgilmore6953 They're only theft if they're not going to the people in forms of services and benefits.
2
@huehuecoyotl2 I live in Ontario. Nothing major is happening that can even remotely compare to the US. The incidents they blow out of proportion are media trying to cover things that happen once a decade.
2
@65minimom Also HumanistReport

Pipe down Maria. Class is in session.
2
It's not entitlement if you paid for it. It's a required benefit. Entitlement would mean you didn't pay or work for it.
2
@allansh828 Yeah but they shouldn't be getting involved at all is my point if no Americans were involved.
1
It, always gets me how America has such a high defense budget but their military isn't that strong. I think a lot of that defense budget is being pocketed not even used on military expenses. Russia has a fraction of America's budget and is making more advanced military equipment.

I'm skeptical to believe this only because of how many times this climate change scare has happened. How do I know who's telling the truth anymore when everyone seems to be lying on every side? On top of this humans have been creatures on this planet an incredibly short time and you're telling me they're causing Doomsday on a planet that supposedly has been around for millions of years? I'm no scientist but I know nature ain't helpless. She will survive even if humans do not. Planets are not as easily destroyed as media and scare propaganda leads to believe and if something happens that hurts humans they brought it on themselves. It doesn't mean the earth won't adapt and survive where humans could not.
1
@harmtheone That's easier said than done. Who doesn't have a political agenda when talking about global warming these days? It seems both sides are using it as a tool.
1
@TomBombadil851 If it's meant to happen it happens. Should it phase me? Who's to say if the extinction of humanity wouldn't bring the planet more peace? For all we know the planet may thrive better if it's rid of humans.
1
@Bbenkosky I want to know what manner of creature you are that you can see jetstreams with your naked eyes.
1
@Bbenkosky That's the entire problem. Everyone uses their own data to the point where you have five different sets of data claiming to be accurate.
1
@sonjaleesloth I never said he was but he's also not a scientist meaning he's reading off things told to him by others about global warming/climate change.
1
americanwillow I'm neutral on this matter. I'm not against or for humans because I don't fear death or extinction. That's just how I am. If people want to save themselves than that's up to them. I care greatly for nature but I also respect it's natural course and extinction of the weak and those who can't adapt has always been part of that cycle. I'm not telling people to go one way or the other but just to do as they believe is the right path for them.
1
@shamus2198 Being ignorant on climate change which I freely said I was doesn't make me "stupid". In fact doubt can be used as a learning tool to seek truth. Just cause someone writes something on paper doesn't mean it's automatically the truth.
1
@Bbenkosky I don't know what you mean by CO2 footprint but CO2 is the natural requirement for plants. Without CO2 they wouldn't survive.
1
Yeah cause corrupt Republicans are so much for the people.
1
@GamerFrom1982 I'm not American. I just think your logic is stupid.
1
@C_R_O_M________ I will correct you that the government system in Norway and Denmark is socialist while the economic system is a combination of socialism and free markets. It is NOT captialism. Also as a Dane I'm gonna say, go back to your milk drinking Swede. Leave real things to real Nordic countries not failures like Sweden.
1
I live in Canada we have like 5-6 big banks but they're not holding trillions of dollars over the country each. They're actually not even hugely privatized in the way banks are in America. (We also don't have a wall street).
1
Actually over half of Republicans currently support Medicare for All.
1
Rabble Repository What does that have to do with what I said?
1
Pull troops outta everywhere that isn't the USA. It's not America's job to world police. We should form of world police/defense force that answers to the UN/Hague only. Again America is NOT the world police and should not be involved in any war like this across the world.
1
@rosestewart1606 I don't think all drugs should be decriminalized. A lot of illegal drugs are extremely harmful.
1
If Bernie were President would we have peace between Russia and America or would the CIA still be helping start wars for the rich?
1
So you'd rather vote against him knowing others are more corrupt than him. Seems like a logical thing to do.
1
@Mr Brownstone Last time I was in America driving on the state highway as a tourist half the highways were falling apart.
1
Crimea voted to join Russia and America sparked that civil war by saying Crimea wasn't allowed to vote for itself and then they prompted Ukraine army to attack Crimea which started the whole thing. If you think Russia did the invading you're sorely misinformed.
1
@Ou8y2k2 Good to know you're five years old.
1
@Ou8y2k2 Guess you failed geography too if you think the Kremlin is in Denmark.
1
@Ou8y2k2 I say what everyone has said who is in military positions and on the field including some people from the Pentagon.
1
Funny story. Since native Americans can travel freely between US and Canada we get natives who live in US near the border coming up to Ontario for stuff all the time.
1
If you actually think that's what people do in a universal healthcare community than you're blind and completely ignorant.
1
@prdeacon974 Do you have any idea how sociopathic you sound?
1
@prdeacon974 Sociopaths are people who think only of themselves with no empathy or thought or care of anyone else around them. Which is exactly what you're doing right now. Furthermore you'd pay LESS than what you're paying now overall for healthcare. This has already been explained many times over because universal healthcare would be cheaper than the current healthcare services.
