It's not even just Norway. Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany and more all have better conditions than America does for its people.

@MartianManHunter7 The difference was calculated already you can google the specifics if you want or the menus of Norway McDonald's. The price difference isn't as large a gap as the pay gap is meaning they're getting paid more without paying much more for the food.

Technically Norwegians and Danes are pretty much the same with not much difference. They've been the same people for thousands of years before Norway and Denmark became separate for some reason.

@Sebman1113 The written down tax rate isn't what corporations pay. In the US corporations avoid paying taxes through many loopholes.
2
@Oberkommando You don't pay weekly taxes nor is the tax rate in Denmark and Norway and Sweden much higher than anywhere else. Your corporate talking points have already been debunked. Conservatives and Elites constantly try to use the more taxes and things are more expensive lies non stop.
1
@Sebman1113 Not to the same extent. Corporations pay on average 0% to 2% in taxes in the US after loopholes.

@BlitzOfTheReich All of those mentioned countries have Maternity leave.
1
@BlitzOfTheReich In the UK it's up to 52 weeks must be allowed and in Germany it's 14-18 weeks. In Czech Republic it's 28-37 weeks. In the US it's 0.
1
@BlitzOfTheReich My point was that workers had it better in other countries than in America. I never once said every country has a year maternity leave at full pay. You're seeing what you want to see.

@rachelm9350 It's only around 14% that's not "insanely high". It's higher than most Europe countries but still not that high. America's current unemployment rate is around 9-10%. More to the point though it's about the conditions of the workers so unemployment rate doesn't mean jack to that. People in Spain aren't working 2 jobs and still being unable to afford rent.
1
@rachelm9350 That's complete and utter nonsense. The average income tax rate in Norway is 22% and it doesn't go much higher than that in European countries. The income tax rate is tied to how much you make. The more you make the higher your rate. If you're at a 40% income tax you're a billionaire.

@peterc.1618 I think you're confusing your middle east countries. Saudi Arabia is the wealthiest country in that region of the world.
1
@peterc.1618 Don't believe everything you see on TV mate. Propaganda exists everywhere. The UK helped set up false gas attacks in Syria they're not exactly innocent.
1
@peterc.1618 The official number recorded for poverty in Saudi Arabia is 6% with the estimated true poverty rate at 12%. It is the 10th lowest poverty nation in the world. Please stop making me have to constantly fact check you guys on your nonsense. It's getting old really fast. 20% is also not even close to the highest in the world. The highest poverty rate in the world is over 70%. The official poverty rate in the US is 11% meaning the true poverty rate is probably closer to 15-17%. That also doesn't include those who make above poverty but less than enough for all their needs which makes up probably at minimum 30% of the country as a conservative value. It's estimated about 22%(official rate) of the UK are in poverty. And in Canada 6.4%(official) poverty rate. Can you next time get your facts correct before commenting on things like poverty.

@tritan130 Their slavery laws have nothing to do with what I was talking about though.

US already isn't a superpower it just likes to pretend it is by clinging to a failing petro dollar system and unhinged capitalism. The elites are not living in reality and will continuously think everything is fine until it's already too late.
1
I still don't understand why Norway and Denmark are two different countries. They're basically the same people in 99.9% of ways.

@mostlysunny582 Weird that you'd bring up immigration since the US has had record levels of emmigration(people leaving the country) in recent years. People have been applying to go to Canada in the thousands.
1
@mostlysunny582 The ratio isn't even close to 1-10. It's more like 1.1 to 1 on average and some recent years it's been more leaving than coming in. People are waking up to the reality of how much America sucks for ordinary people by being exposed to other countries that do things way better. In December 2021 a cenus done found that immigration was at record lows in recent years.
1
@mostlysunny582 I don't know why you made up 6K number. Official emmigration numbers aren't tracked in the US (because like everything else their system is garbage) they only officially record the net migration rate which as of 2005 has been constantly going down. The net migration is currently 2.93 per thousand as of 2021. Not high.
1
@mostlysunny582 I literally looked at both the Wikipedia and Cenus gov pages. Both feature the net migration rate and little else. No exact numbers for emigration. So again cite a source (which you can't cause you made it up).
