  3.  @Arhythmatic1  Yeah they make their money through the stock market, property ownership, government bailouts, and other capital gains methods. So to say they work at all, even a little, for most of their money is a stretch.

The idea is that CEOs get paid a lot cause back in the day the head of companies before the days of modern corporations often personally oversaw everything so they were paid cause the job was really stressful, had long hours, and they were often swamped with responsibility. Nowadays they get paid equally as good if not better to do jack diddle and just reap in the rewards of their workers.

  8. The difference is Russian oligarchs aren't going around pretending they're not corrupt and pretending the country isn't an authoritarian state and to be perfectly honest life was pretty good for most Russians before the sanctions happened.

  9. To live very comfortably one only needs roughly about $200,000 USD a year at most. Bezos makes over 1.6M each year not including stocks or other capital gains methods with a net worth of 177.5B. He has the means to give his workers decent pay and benefits he's choosing not to cause this man is dragon levels of greed.
