Something not really being mentioned here is how the US breaks laws legally especially with military action(and corporation sweatshops). And how they do this is by going into foreign countries and commiting the acts such as torture there so it doesn't qualify as breaking US law since it wasn't in the US. Also the US has infamously said if any Americans were taken to the Hague for international war crimes that they would attack the Hague as an act of war. (Not kidding they actually said this)

@namenotfound8747 Scientists say those things lead to mental trauma which causes problems for kids both at that age and later in life. So the science does not agree with how you feel about hitting kids.

@falconJB Schools have hit children and got away with it. So I would say it's definitely a problem in the US.
