I fully agree with what you wrote there plus our governments would also tax them meaning that it generates further income for our respective countries, great comment by the way. 👏

The skyrocketed part i disagree with as the VAST majority of weed is grown by what i call "career criminals" where the sale of one drug has some impact on other drugs... whether you wish to acknowledge it or not. I myself was a career criminal for nearly 20 years and the production of our products were tied together financially and the distribution was also. Very few of our customers would buy only cannabis to sell on to theirs meaning that when their customers bought their weed they were more often than not exposed to the harder drugs. I'm not saying that it's 100% of the time but certainly from my experience it's the majority. Now that I'm no longer that way inclined I'm a believer that we should legalise drugs for both the tax revenue and also to make sure that the narcotics are regulated.

@rogerthompson5142 I'm of the standing of not only decriminalisation but also of legalisation and distribution.. of all drugs by our nation. The reality is that for as long as human beings have been around they've looked for mind altering substances so what better way to help fix this problem than to control what goes into them whilst our nation gaining revenue in the process. It takes away a massive part of the funds for the career criminals which is also a huge positive in my opinion. As for the gateway drug aspect i firmly disagree with you on that due to the numbers, how many people drink alcohol and never partake in illegal substances in comparison to how many people smoke green and try other illegal substances.
