  2. The minute I knew it was his brother my mind went to "he had an affair behind his brothers back, she likely told him that she didn't want to pursue it any more, then he killed her so that she couldn't admit it to his brother". That was my initial thought as a motive, anyway.

I reckon he was sleeping with his brothers girlfriend, she then said it was a mistake and possibly mentioned that she was going to admit it to her boyfriend, then Kenny ended her in order to stop it from coming out to the family/brother. His comments in jail further back up my initial thoughts.
