Other countries (specifically the hot climates) homes aren't extremely well insulated like they are here in Britain which means the heat is trapped in the house, we also don't have many air conditioning units as, well... they just weren't required beforehand. This isn't just a case of moaning unfortunately for British citizens, but rather a genuine concern for those who are ill, old or isolated.

  2. What about the old and disabled? It's "just a couple of days of sunshine", right? The problem is that EVERYBODY is different where this heat doesn't affect me too much, I know that there are some very old or very poorly people where this could become fatal for them, ya know matey?
