This is a positive thing, this £150 is on top of the cost of living payment so its definitely not something that should be lambasted. It's good to see the government helping those at the bottom of the social spectrum, one thing that does concern me however is that inflation is waaaaay over what it should be. The government need to grow a pair and TELL these private energy suppliers that they need to stop abusing the customer... especially considering the government were good enough to sell them off to them in the 1st place. They've made ridiculous profits since they were sold off at our expense, now is the time to force them to cap their profit margins.
