Well... this comment thread turned south rather quickly didn't it 😂

Seems I've stumbled on the best and most mature thread on here. I agree with BOTH of your comments. If Cody feels TAM is best for his development then that's cool... but if TJ Dillashaw feels training with Duane Ludwig is best for his development then that's where he should be. Uriah Faber has got most of those team alpha male combatants feeling as if their dedication is to him and the team... when the reality is they're all individuals and need to do what is best for their own growth and progression. I just wish Garbrandt and the rest of TAM realised this and let the hatred towards Dillashaw rest as it's not helping either of them.

Realistically we just don't know if he was saved by the bell or not. TJ was scrambling back up whilst evading punches so there's an argument that he may not have been as hurt as we first thought, however we also don't know if he was in serious trouble where one connected strike could've turned the lights out. I feel there's only a few times the term saved by the bell can apply and that's in a deep submission attempt, a non defended barrage of strikes... and that crappy 90's tv program with the guy that Shaun O'Malley bases his appearance on.

Agreed. Unfortunately if it's your favourite mixed martial artist then most of us will do it. I'm a huge Bisping fan and have found myself doing the same thing previously but if I rewatch his fights at a later date I see both sides of it... He did beat Anderson Silva however but believe he lost the fight with Matt Hammil. I get how people are biased and all but it's when people are arguing in a toxic manner that I can't stand.

Aaron Brooks yeah you're right. Nice to see someone else who just doesn't know if he was saved by the bell or not. Everyone who says he was, or he wasn't are voicing an opinion and not stating the fact. We will never know and the only person who does know is TJ Dillashaw himself.

josh prince that was a huge fight at the time and I was incredibly excited for that one. Mine was Bisping vs Rockhold 2 personally.

It's arguable that he did beat Cruz... just to play devil's advocate.

Agreed. A martial artist who's angry is never the best version of themselves. I bet if Wonderboy was an angry bastard he wouldn't be as talented as he is.

Mikolaj Nurkiewicz yeah mate it's a great match up for the fans and the organisation. I also want TJ to win as his technical ability is one of the best within mixed martial arts worldwide in my opinion... but Cody has this way of counter striking that is devastating if it connects. I see the first round with Cody being cautious, then second round onwards it will open up. I think Dillashaw wins this fight on points 28-27... but with these two fighters you just never know.

drew collier yeah and it is the wrong side of that borderline 😂

God damn not this shit again

It would be amazing if that did happen tbh. TJ is phenomenal at those.

None of us know if he was saved by the bell or not. The only person who knows is Dillashaw himself. To me he didn't look as hurt as some people think he was as he scrambled and was holding the leg of Garbrandt, but after the buzzer went he did look a little shakey so I'm unsure personally... as is Everyone! Anyone who thinks they know for certain are lying and are only guessing as like I just said... only TJ Dillashaw knows if the bell saved him that fight and none of us will ever know... unless Dillashaw writes a book once he's retired that is lol.

Roy Nelson couldn't have worded it better myself my pot bellied friend.
