  1. God damn these get me pumped. Real shame about the previous co main event as I was so excited for that bout but even with that fight being cancelled... this card is still stacked to the rafters with decent fights. Not a popular opinion here but I understand why Ortega didn't accept the Stephen's fight although personally I'd of loved to watch that fight. From Ortegas point of view he had a hell of a lot to lose if it went badly and Stephen's a lot to gain. If Ortega lost to max then the next fight for Ortega would've been against Stephen's anyway so why risk getting yourself out of title contention? As a hardcore martial arts enthusiast I'd of loved to see Ortega vs stephens personally but looking in from Ortegas point of view... that fight doesn't make sense. I can't wait for this card and I'm so excited. The main event is huge and anyone who doesn't mind risking money should put money on DC as the odds are ridiculously good.

  2. Fair play to Chiesa and Pettis. Pettis for accepting the fight and Chiesa for stating it's his last at 155lbs. Some fighters constantly miss weight and are forced to move up but he said it off his own back in front of the world's media. Whilst I hate people missing weight I can't help give a shred of respect to Chiesa for saying what he did, where he did and when he did. Other fighters who miss weight... Take note on how to behave if it happens from Chiesa here.
