  2. This is what happens when you demonize and dehumanize a group of people, whether it be for their skin color, religion, or profession. It leads to stuff like this becoming normalized. Combine it with this "soft on crime" BS, and it's only going to continue to happen and get worse and more frequent as it does so. Welcome to the new normal, I guess.
