  1. NGL, college is overrated. I can understand going if you want to be a doctor, scientist/researcher, or a lawyer or such, but other than that, it's a waste of money. Go learn a trade and develop some critical thinking skills and you're good.

  2. As long as the government continues to offer loans to pay for it, college will pretty much never be affordable, and most people would be better off going to a trade school anyways rather than getting a degree in some useless nonsense field that will never get them a decent living.

  3.  KIT Stone  Actually, I did, unfortunately, go to college. I also never said developing critical thinking skills was a quick process. Clearly, by your own comment here, you are the one of the two of us lacking in that regard.
