No, what's damaging is elite overproduction, we've told a bunch of utter mediocrities (50% of people go to university, which means you can be a "graduate" when half the population is smarter than you) that they're very important people who are owed a "graduate job". And then we put them 50k in debt at 7% interest. Really something like 10% of the population should be going to university, and the rest should get on-the-job technical training or part-time certification at most.

And without faking "economic growth" by flooding the country with third world immigrants, the economy would be shrinking. (rankly it's disgusting that the government would doom the country to balkanization and social collapse just to make "muh GDP" go up. There should be a sustained push to make GDP per capita, (not perfect, I know) not GDP the main metric of government economic performance.

Yep, both Tories and Labour do nothing but tinker at the edges. They both have vested interests they serve (pensioners, home owners, big corporations, unions etc)

@sedzialaguna You seem to hate Britain a lot, like most leftists. The vast majority of countries in the world are not the EU, US or China, and they get along just fine.

You are a total liar lol. There was never a single market for services, and as you just said, our industrial exports were already low anyway. If you look at France, the UK has had almost identical economic performance to it since Brexit, so how do you explain that? If Brexit had harmed us, why are we continuing to perform almost exactly the same as them?

That just isn't true lol. People like you who base everything on resentment and trying to take from the productive wealth creators are the worst thing. It's the reason the US is rapidly diverging from Europe and economically succeeding.
