The funny thing is that "British" might function quite well as a civic umbrella identity, while allowing the ethnic English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish and new immigrants to maintain their own ethnic identities while being integrated, but leftists literally won't tolerate the existence of the ethnic English, so they will claim that an Indian ethnicity person born in England is "as English as anyone else", or that people of any race can be ethnically English (Freddie tried this until Aris pushed back), or that the English ethnicity simply doesn't exist.

  5. The fundamental point is that they never intended to deliver change. The Tories serve the corporations and global finance, not Britain. Not that Labour will be any different. We have a Conservative party that conserves nothing, a Labour party that doesn't care about labour. They never intended to lower immigration, they never intended to help the patriotic working class voters who trusted them, they never intended to make Britsin a truly sovereign nation.

They are so unconservative that despite now having a free hand to actually pass conservative policies, with no excuses about how that will be "electorally unpopular", since they're going to be destroyed, they prefer to just be voted out of power by calling an election now. And they better not blame "covid" or "Ukraine", since the lockdown and our undeclared war on Russia were what caused economic chaos, and they were not the events themselves, but the government reaction to those events.

  20. Have the Russians been shown to be weak? Ukraine is the largest country in Europe proper, it has a population 1/3rd the size of Russia, it has been trained to NATO standards, os the biggest army in Europe, has the full weight of NATO intelligence and military planning behind it, has been given more money by the West than Russia spends on its annual defence budget, and the West has carried out all put financial war against Russia on its behalf. Russia deployed a limited force,.and refrained from attacking Ukrainian infrastructure for almost an entire year. This would be similar to the USA fighting Britain and France at the same time, while Britain and France had the full support of the entirety of Asia, and were being given a trillion dollars by China to fund their war effort. Given the fact that NATO was too scared to carry out a ground invasion of Yugoslavia in the 90s, I'd be interested to see how America would fare with a similar challenge.

  22. Yep, the propaganda from the media is obvious lies, parrotting made up Ukrainian figures that have no actual basis (how could the Ukrainians possibly know how many RUssians have been killed?). The only objective analysis by the BBC puts Russian KIA at 20k or something. Whereas the EU accidentally admitted that over 100k Ukrainians have been killed, which at the very least shows a 5x differential.

The fact that the establishment (and this is an entirely establishment created industry, funded by the elites, corporations and governments), only created the disinformation industry when neoliberal globalists started losing votes in the West (Trump/Brexit etc) shows that "disinformation" is simply anything that Western elites think threatens their control over society.
