As a right winger Assange has my full support. The trouble is that the neocons who still control much of the Republican party don't care what ordinary Republican voters think.
39
"Putin's not someone who talks to any journalists" He literally had a massive e 3 hour televised press conference a few weeks ago lol.
38
This is literally the sort of behaviour you get from the mob. They all take "a piece" from their subordinates, even if they don't really need it, but simply as a matter of principle.
37
Yep, why is anyone who asks about it attacked?
28
This has been totally ignored in the UK
17
There's nothing in Catholic teaching that says that its ok to let children be abused though. And the incidence of child abuse in public schools is higher, but no one ever suggests that that reflects on public schooling. The abusers don't do that because of an ideological reason.
11
Don't seem to recall Kirby waiting for an investigation before condemning civilian deaths caused by Russia in Ukraine.
6
Lol, so basically "she's more important so she gets special protections that ordinary people don't" What a joke.
6
There has been zero coverage of this in the UK
6
yep, he seemed genuiely agitated, stumbling over his words, speaking quickly etc.
5
We were told that feminism was about giving women "a choice", but that was a lie, it just flipped from judging women for not being stay at home mothers and housewives, to judging women FOR being stay at home mothers and housewives.
5
It's fine because she was just "extremely careless", and the law says the legal standard is "grossly negligent". (Even though those words are exact synonym)
5
Yep, no other Western country would dare do it without their say so.
4
Also for historical reasons Icleand has rather odd gender relations, its been considered OK to impregnate and abandon women for a long time, because "the community" will help her for example.
4
And he said "really matters", not "nothing else matters"
3
if it was never intended to be added, then who wrote it lol?
3
"no way, it's probably Russia, because they're probably the ones who would do something like that" - yeah, great argument there lol.
3
Right this is the point. The "movement" (i.e. the elites that control and fund mainstream conservative organisations) purged any conservatives unwilling to kowtow to Israel decades ago, and will attack them with a viciousness far greater than they ever do liberals or the left if they put their heads above the parapet.
3
The Internet has been a huge hassle for elites. Although they are starting to regain narrative control over it since 2016 (see the propaganda push for Ukraine)
3
Yep, when people seem primed to instantly and angrily react to a suggestion, it's because they've already thought of it themselves and know that they aren't meant to talk about it.
3
Robby is a bit of a neocon
3
Guy is already in jail and conveniently they make a point of Zelensky not knowing anything about it - lol
2
People had far more children when they were dirt poor, so it's not about money.
2
@workingman-xl6xh Yes, the point is that Putin didn't say what the media headlines claimed, basically just said he was expecting a more hostile interview so he was disappointed since that was what he prepared for.
2
"completely Russia's fault" - come on lol
2
Lol, the point is that they didn't do "the right thing", they're all neocon/neolib globalist sociopaths who couldn't care less about that, so the fact they hate Donald Trump is an endorsement, not a mark against him. The idea that killing half a million Iraqis didn't bother Bush but Trump's mean tweets about Congress were something that contradicted some noble principle he keeps to is ridiculous. He and Cheney and Romney just want the Republican party back in the hands of the neocon warmongers and global finance like it was before.
2
Although you could make the argument that Conservatives have traditionally been blind to these abuses (say up until the end of the Bush era)
2
I mean, he was ridiculed for doing a segment on his show about the danger of angry gun toting trans activists on his show, then a week later look what happened.
2
Europe is extremely authoritarian, it's just "liberal" authoritarianism. There's a reason the British Conservative party is basically just social democrat; because most right wing views have been effectively crimalized.
2
Right, except plenty of sociological data show that leftists are the least "accepting" of people they don't like of any group. When asked whether they'd discriminate against conservatives in hiring, leftists will openly say that they would, while on the contrary right wing people say they are happy to hire people of any group.
2
Yep, American conservatives also don't seem to care about Palestinian Christians very much.
2
@AtariM216 I didn't say he was. The video references right wingers not defending Assange, so I was making a basic comment to say that there are people on the right who support him.
2
Something can't be true when you gloat about it, but false when your opponents complain about it.
2
Shilling for Israel is not a genuine "right wing" position.
1
The only American journalist in jail in Russia was caught poking around outside a Russian tank production facility. What would happen to a Russian journalist who tried to "interview" workers at a Raytheon missile plant?
1
Treatment would be available if housing first morons weren't spending tens of millions of dollars building free apartments.
1
Protecting democracy? Bahahahahahahaha
1
Has Biden done any interviews with hostile Russian journalists?
1
Why shouldn't the "MAGA GOP" be pro Russian? Why are the Democrats and RINOs allowed to take the side of Ukraine without being called traitors?
1
Because that's the easiest inane cliche to use to dismiss them.
1
US "allies" that are natural regional hegemons (Germany, Japan in the past) are really just countries being kept down by America, so of course it would be willing to harm them to keep them from getting away from its control (as Germany increasingly was with Russian energy).
1
Yeah almost no one seems to be saying this, they talk about how inflation was already high, but not about the fact that it's not Russia that started the sanctions war, it's the West.
1
And this app was funded and promoted by the US government...
1
He's a covert Zionist
1
Im a right wing conservative and I can see what Israel is doing is disgusting. Why can't Robby? Does he think only the left is allowed to oppose this?
1
"This has nothing to do with that" Lol, yes, it does, when she was just puahing anti white stuff she was fine, but upset the Jewish donors and you're taken out.
1
It wasn't an allegation that Tucker was spied on you disingenuous shill Robbie
1
The argument when challenged always seems to come down to "the Russians are just crazy so they do things that make no sense"
1
Fine; "a left wing social ideology rooted in critical theory and advocating an inverted collective morality of "equity" where different groups are sorted into oppressor and oppressed and subjected to collective punishment / redistribution of economic and cultural capital in order to achieve equality of outcome on every axis of identity" Good enough? Distinct from liberal individualism and equality that characterised the American left from the 1950s to 2000s, and the hierarchical traditionalism that used to characterise the right.
1
Lol, the US supported literally Al Qaeda in Syria, and Tulsi is the bad guy for supporting a secular dictator who protected ethnic minorities from Al Qaeda and ISIS forces' genocidal campaign during the civil war?
