No, the pirate vessels are the ones trying to seize Russian shipping on the high seas. And the reason it doesn't have a flag is because of illegal Western sanctions.

  2. The amazing thing about the games the West plays is that they think any of them will actually work. "Ha, Lloyds won't insure you, now it's impossible for you to go in the sea!" - um, ok, we can just do our own insurance. "Ha, we've made it illegal for anyone to pay more than $60 for Russian oil!" - "um, all of us non Western countries will buy oil at whatever price we want thanks". "Ha, we can just make up nonsense excuses for NATO countries to board and seize Russian tankers! - "um, hello this is fighter jet, want to start World War 3?"

For all the people trying to defend this as somehow being in ay way an honest application of maritime law, EU and NATO leaders literally spent the last couple of years talking about how they will "find ways" to stop Russia selling oil and halt the movement of Russian shipping. Guess what, when you start with an improper motive and then make up legal justifications for what you're doing, that doesn't make it acceptable. The West has spent decades lecturing people about the "rules based order", but then just throws those rules out the window when it suits them. From stealing Russia and Venezuela and Afghanistan's sovereign assets, to harassing civilian shipping from countries they have not declared war on.
