Europe is still utterly under American occupation, we have only the illusion of self government. If you think America is bad, here in the UK there is simply NO dissent allowed of any kind on the issue of Ukraine. The imperial centre in Washington decided the policy, therefore the unspoken task of the British government and media is to enforce it without question. The only mainstream politician who dared to step an inch out of line on the issue, (to say that NATO had some role in provoking Russia) had the media come down on him like a ton of bricks. Unfortunately we're like those Japanese soldiers who kept fighting long after the Emperor had surrendered, so even if America decided to cut its losses and pivot under Trump, the idiot leadership in Europe will just continue to carry out the orders of the Biden administration, thinking that "Trump will be gone in four years and the "adults" will be back in charge after that, so we will just keep committing economic suicide for the sake of the liberal world order"
