  3. They didn't go in such big numbers to Labour, Labour got less votes than they did a few years ago under Jeremy Corbyn where they lost miserably. What happened is Tory voters just stayed at home or voted Reform, so Labour won even with very little support.

We'd probably be better off with a "central and Eastern European defence alliance" - something that would a) be ready to actually fight Russia, since all its member would understand they stand and fall together, but also something small enough that Russia wouldn't feel it was an offensive threat to it. But it would mean Western Europe and the US genuinely disengaging from any form of defence cooperation with Eastern and Central Europe.

  7. To be fair, almost the entirety of Islamic terrorism is committed by Sunnis, and almost nothing by the Shia. The Iranians are a far more pleasant and civilized people than the Saudis, for example.

  8. The stuff about the East is obvious. I've evem seen reports on Sky News where they couldn't conceal the fact that populations in the East are pro Russian, there was one segment where the locals in a village were saying that the Ukrainians soldiers "defending them" should just leave, and the Ukrainian soldiers were complaining about how the local kept communicating their positions to the Russians for artillery strikes.
