  1. Did you unironically jump from austerity and public spending cuts to The Winter of Discontent? You are a literal clown lol, it was caused by allowing trade unions to have so much power that government spending went out of control and they literally throught they coud take control of the government of the country, while you imply it was somehow due to some sort of Thatcherite assault. (in fact, of course, Thatcher was necessary to bring the country back from the edge that the unions almost pushed it over.
