  1. Yeah his argument is trash, "people say solar doesn't work because it requires subsidies and incentives, but we do have them, therefore it does work" is a totally circular argument. It's like yes, because you're taking other people's money to fund your solar panels, you're virtue signalling and making a profit, what a hero you are. Those subsidies you're using to barely break even are paid for by people who use regular fossil fuel generated electricity anyway, and the environmental impact of solar panel manufacture is enormous.
