It's so weird how different countries can be. Here in England the rural villages are all beautiful and incredibly desirable to live in, to the point that young local people are forced to leave and move to large towns and cities because the house prices are pushed up by people from cities buying them as holiday homes.

Honestly the way it's organized is almost perfect, the balance between public and private, local and remote, old and new, natural and human made. Honestly the Japanese are a wonderful people and civilization. It's funny that people want to leave and crowd into Toko and other mega cities. I mean, for what? This might sound like an exaggeration, but compared to most of the world, and most of history, this place is basically paradise.

Yep. Of course we used to have it too. Hopefully Japan can hold onto theirs and modermn Western influence doesn't hollow them out too.
