@2ue " fallacy called 'tu quoque' " If it's "blatant sexism", then the data are fine. If someone else tampered with the data, then the accusation was correct, so no sexism. Your argument is a logical fallacy called "nonsense". BTW - sexists might believe, that female nature is inherently dishonest. Considering that, claiming "blatant sexism" then blaming another woman is genuinely ironic.

@2ue " logical flow for this argument is invalid. " Am I not being clear enough? It's either: Data are fine ->wrongly accused -> possible sexism Or: Faked data -> correctly accused -> no indication of sexism. She self admitted that the data were tampered with by accusing someone else with it.

@andyk2181 " only by coincidence was correct in their accusation " Sure, but then we have zero evidence for sexism. We still need evidence before we accuse someone, don't we? " without contradicting herself " Of course she contradicted herself. Why it's so difficult to understand? "My data fine, they pick on me because sexism." vs. "Okay, my data fake, she/he did it!" If her data "not fine", she has shown zero evidence for sexism. (While blaming another woman is the ironic part.)

@andyk2181 " contra-positive is valid propositional logic " Are you trying to reverse the implication? " All the jargon might be a bit much " Exactly. It all reads like "Oh, I was wrong, but I don't feel like admitting to it." " I still missed something you were trying to say? " Of course you did. When she admitted that the data were faked (by blaming someone else for it), she indirectly admitted that her "blatant sexism" earlier defense was fake too. In case you still don't get it - She said it in this exact context. She did not accuse them of mean tweets, for example. Like, "My data fine. BTW - they tweet mean, so they sexist." She didn't do it.

@aahyes9068 " She obviously understands how (most people's) minds work. " Well, she was one of the most famous psychology professors in the world. Now she's arguably the most notorious one. Not too bad, for a narcissist.

@DrPitchnPutt " sexism is when a woman blames a woman? " That's not a contradiction, not by itself. I've found 7 definitions of sexism in a dictionary, and only the last one mentioned the opposite sex.

@animesuxxxx However, if you say I'm bad with money, and then I spend a few hundreds badly, it kinda proves your point, doesn't it?
