  1. If easy divisions are so great in the machine shop, why they almost never use them? Why oh why, everything is always spelled out in inches and thous? And "core units of metric" aren't made intentionally small to aid in easy divisions. Who needs to scale something down either exactly 16 or 32 times, but 10 or 20 won't do? Metric scales down exactly as easily as it scales up. No difference whatsoever. That's all so silly. Using your brain literally backwards. Rationalization instead of investigation.
