@JC20XX " maybe French audio mixers don't mix for the theatre/5.1+ " I had a friend who had decent English while he was learning German. He was capable of picking up spoken German much better, even if he couldn't understand all the words. It's the same with me for Russian. It's my weaker language, yet I get by quite well, while it took me much more time to achieve the same level in English. I believe, it's the language itself. At least to a degree.
