@drlca6601 "species or race" - Species and race are on a different level of taxonomy. Different races belong to the same species, so by definition, they can breed with each other. "From a physical anthropological standpoint, race does not exist. " - You mean, we can't distinguish between various populations based on common characteristics they share? "Having race as a culturally conceived term is troublesome and only breeds division." - How about medicine? You think it's useless concept in medicine too? You wouldn't expect and screen for higher frequency of skin cancer among pale-faces or for rickets among dark-skinned people? Because it only breeds division? Well, I'm sorry to inform you, but thankfully it's not how medicine is done! "ignoring scientific validities" - Oh, yeah! Why don't you teach me about science, which I'm sure you know a lot about? ;-)

@drlca6601 "The word ethnicity fits much better" - It would, if I was discussing German and Polish people, for example. East Germans used to be Western Slavs, Poles are Western Slavs, so the only difference between them is culture. "When scientific fact is being drowned out in favour of an agenda then there is no reasoning with someone." - You mean, I should give up? There is no way you guys will see the reason? And let all this reality defying bollocks fly unchallenged? I'd consider that, but your claim of "science" feels like someone is twisting my nuts.

@drlca6601 "my major was anthropology I should know about these things!" I agree. If you really don't, it sounds scary.

@drlca6601 Take the red pill. For starters, races are real.

If it was so horrible (those adds! the horror!), how come women used to be happier back then?

@trollmanthatrollington6407 So, why pale-faces in Africa have higher risks of skin cancer? Because of shared culture, or place of origin.

@Magmon "what our mothers and grandmothers went through" - That's fine and dandy, but for a full picture shouldn't we also include what they usually didn't have to experience? Things like divorce and single motherhood? Lonely life as they aged? What a terrible perspective! To watch their grandchildren play in the yard! Such an awful noise! I'm sure all of them would rather make a career in fire department or something...

@kevinkellyswellies Not everyone was happier back then. Only women. That's what the data shows.
