@kidmosey That explanation was shown to be incorrect long time ago, when Linux started dominating on the server market, yet it was Windows which was the most insecure.

@kidmosey I was talking about servers, which were run by the pros. I'm not entirely sure of it, but I suspect that even back then the total number of publicly known vulnerabilities on Linux was much higher than on Windows. Yet it were the relatively rare Windows servers which were involved in most security disasters.
