The empty stores and streets were a precursor of what was to come.   7.  @robbiestewart8179  Its a good idea to do it. Seems counterintuitive but it keeps hiv and hep c down. Personally, Id like em to do it in specific locations. Then they can control it better, provide counseling,etc. They do that elsewhere and it works.

  8.  Daryl Leckt  The 70s were kinda like that everywhere. Its reflected in the movies in particular. Dog Day Afternoon, Taxi Driver, French Connection. I actually remember the time fondly.Therecwas a LOT of stuff happening. And I was at Berkeley. I miss it.
