There are a lot of... strange things in out times, but 10 minute grocery delivery is quite high on the list. I could maybe get my head around 30 minutes, for when your friends suddely visit and you need snacks, but 10 minutes? If your friends can't wait 30 minutes for chips, you should get better ones anyway ;)
About Gorilles: I read an article just a few days ago. At the start they were making more loss per trip than the average worth of trips. So someone ordered for 12€ and they had a loss of 13€ or so.
It's now down to "only" 5€ or so, but still... can't see that working once the VC is out. It's like Uber. Their plan was to use self-driving cars and to be "the" market, that is why they used so much capital. Build a monopoly. But as self-driving cars are not out...
I think they even managed to break even with being a food delivery on top on the original business model. I think that is the only way for those grocery deliveries, too. Consolidate until it's only one left, incorporate additional services and then up the prices. (Amazon did the same btw.)
Not worth imho, but that is true for a lot of services and things that exist, like 1000€ smartphones or golf.
