@موسى_7 streets wide enough for one car lane or the pedestrian only smaller ones - those types of backalleys.

If I had a million I would live somewhere cheap (as I do) which has all the basics and never work (for money) again. With 1 million in index fund you can live forever in small luxury.

@daelbows5783 In a cheap area like here you can very easily get a nice place for a 4 person family for ~1000€ living costs (rent, water, energy). That is 12K a year. With 1 mill, according to the 4% rule that is 40K before taxes. Or at least 20K after taxes and living costs. "luxury" may not hit it with 4 people, but you can easily live on that. For the rest you are allowed to earn money on the side ;)

@daelbows5783 That's why I said "I would live somewhere cheap". However nice a city is, it's not worth working 20 years more. You only have one life after all.
