  1. I also think it's an disinformation attack. One to have Ukraine distribute troops from the frontlines that are already under high pressure, and two to dismotivate Western help "if Russia attacks there too, Ukraine really has no chance!" That is not to say that there will be no attacks. But if there are, it will be more like 30K instead of 300K, just enough to make it a real PITA.
