  6. I don't think "glad" is an appropriate word. I would always be careful in believing anyone saying "The guys in front of me with the guns? Oh yeah, I like them very much!" - but yes. Many people in that area (like it oftne was with the peasents) don't care much about who is the nominal leader as long as they can live their live.

  7.  @ZootyZoFo  Stop the hype for the F16. They can help because they can shoot western ammo, but they are not better then late soviet design (same era after all). And anyway there are not enough to make more than point difference. They are in no way a wonder weapon and not even supply a new capability, as HIMARS did (and which made them so devastating until Russians adapted. No they are "merely" very effective usual weapons)
