One year later, it feels even StarLink's main market is going to be war efforts or areas devastated by war or natural disaster. But since people in a earthquake struck area aren't exactly solvent, I think even for the later, the main customer is gonna be governments. Quite funny, don't you think? In the retrospect, a company whose main market is disaster (natural or man made) struck area is more of a public enemy than a friend. No business can exist to serve people in need.

@ThisNoName BS. SpaceX's success is mostly due to tech taken from old Soviet rockets and ex-NASA engineers. Not to mention NASA funding, which is still a major earning for them. Only fools believe in magic man, cult leader shit. Yes, it will take China decades to achieve what US and Soviets achieved and what US private companies may do standing on top of that. But your cult leader is really has less role in that.

@21berkyx Actually rampant corruption is pretty common in private sector too. I guess u aren't just aware of that. On top of being corrupted, private companies always serve their own goal (profit, market share etc) more than the goal of the field. This isn't a flaw, this is a foundation of private corporation. The only way to go is a private-public coexistence, a competition between them, where both keeps each other straight. Unfortunately, even that is riddled with lobbying and collusion to maximise profit ane bribe.
