  1. Mike, locomotive # 70 on your train is ex-CN and ex-VIA FPA 4 # 6760, built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1958. One of 4 that NVWT has, acquired in about 1988. The Vista Dome car is née Milwaukee Road # 52, later CN 2405 and VIA 2705 "Qu'Appelle". They used to operate on CN's and VIA's "Super Continental" between either Winnipeg, Edmonton, or Jasper depending on season, and Vancouver. So a little bit of Canada thrown in. IDKWYGNBIKIBTWY.

  2. @joshuanishanthchristian5217  MLW was Alco's Canadian subsidiary, which built the designs under license. MLW became Bombardier in 1975, then Alstom 2 years ago.
